1. Data Controller

The controller of your personal data is Adriana Guściora, operating in the field of psychological consultations (for couples, individuals, teenagers and infertility support) and mediation.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

  • Email address, when you download materials
  • Contact form data, name, email, message content
  • Consultation form data, including problem description and expectations
  • Mediation form data, first name, last name, email, problem description and expectations
  • Teen consultation inquiry form data, the teenager's data (full name, age), the parent's or legal guardian's data (full name, email, phone) and the inquiry description

Special category data notice (Art. 9 GDPR): Due to the nature of the services provided (psychological consultations, sexology, mediation), we may process data concerning your mental health and sexual life. These are special category data within the meaning of Art. 9(1) GDPR. Processing of such data is carried out solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) and for the provision of healthcare services (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR). Providing this data is voluntary but necessary for professional psychological support.

3. Purpose of data processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Sending educational materials (worksheets, exercises)
  • Responding to your messages
  • Scheduling consultations
  • Providing consultation and psychological services
  • Handling mediation inquiries
  • Scheduling and conducting teen consultations (based on parental or legal guardian consent)

The legal basis for processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the performance of a contract or taking steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For special category data (health data), the legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

4. Data recipients

Your data may be transferred to the following entities:

  • MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania/EU), email platform for newsletter and downloadable materials distribution.
  • Google, for Google Calendar services used for booking appointments.
  • Submit-Form.com, contact form processing service.

Google may process data on servers in the United States. This transfer is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission. Submit-Form.com processes data on servers in the US, this transfer is also safeguarded by SCCs. MailerLite stores data within the EU (Lithuania).

5. Data retention period

We store data for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Data provided when downloading materials, until consent is withdrawn
  • Contact form data, for the duration of correspondence + 1 year
  • Data related to consultations, in accordance with legal requirements (min. 5 years)

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data portability to another controller
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

7. Voluntary provision of data

Providing data is voluntary but necessary to receive materials or schedule consultations.

We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling.

8. Social media

We maintain profiles on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram). For data processed on these platforms, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited acts as a joint controller of your data (Art. 26 GDPR).

We process data (name, comments, messages) for the purposes of:

  • Managing our profile and communicating with followers
  • Responding to messages and comments
  • Profile statistics (in anonymised form)

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest, promotion and communication). Some of your rights can be exercised directly with Meta through the platform's privacy settings.

9. Cookies

The website may use cookies necessary for its proper functioning. We do not use marketing or tracking cookies.

10. Data of minors

Teen consultations (ages 11-19) are provided only with the consent and knowledge of a parent or legal guardian. The inquiry for a minor is submitted by a parent or legal guardian, providing the minor's data (full name, age) and their own contact details.

The minor's data, including data concerning health (Art. 9 GDPR), is processed on the basis of the explicit consent of the parent or legal guardian (Art. 8 and Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), as well as for the provision of healthcare services (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR), solely for the purpose of scheduling and conducting the consultation.

The parent or legal guardian may withdraw consent at any time and exercise the rights described in section 6 on behalf of the minor by emailing [email protected].
